November 8th Lesson
In today's lesson we reviewed and drilled pinyin and tones. The "initials" (consonants) and "finals" (vowels) will be practiced next week with Wu Laoshi.
We also discussed question words (below) and briefly went over the Lesson 1-6 review worksheet I emailed you guys.
什麼 (shen2me) "what?"
哪 (na3/nei3) "which?"
哪裡 (na3li) "where?"
哪兒(nar3) "where?"
誰 (shui2/shei2) "who?"
For next week's lesson:
1. Review your pinyin and practice sounding out the combinations.
2. Review your Lesson 1-6 worksheet and make note of any questions you have on it. I'll have the answer sheet posted soon.
3. Review the two PDFs I sent last week: "Pinyin Tone Pairs and 20 Essential Words" (3 pages total) and "Cheat Sheet for Time Words" (1 page total).
